Vanabliss kits are designed to work with commonly available vehicle headlights in the appropriate size for your selected layout. You’re free to choose the style and features you like, whether that includes halos, daytime running lights, or clean classic lenses — it’s all about your preference and how you want your van to feel.

This approach gives you flexibility in look and function while letting you match the headlights to your van’s personality and use.

What year Vanagons does the kit work on?

The Vanabliss headlight kits currently fit 1986–1991 Vanagons that have the square headlight opening. We’re working on additional fitments for earlier years, and those will be shared here as they become available.

How do I track my order?

How do I install the Vanabliss headlight kit?

How do I adjust my headlights?

Adjusting Vanabliss-equipped headlights works the same way as the stock setup. Use the original adjustment points and follow the manufacturer’s guidance or reputable online resources to aim the lights correctly after installation.

What kind of visibility do LED beams provide?

Different LED headlights create light in slightly different ways, and how they behave on the road depends on their internal design.

Reflector-style LEDs spread light widely close to your van, which makes nearby objects easier to see but offers less reach. Projector-style headlights use a lens to focus light farther down the road with a clear cutoff line, which helps long-distance visibility without scattering light upward.

Are there discounts available?

We use reliable ground shipping within the United States via USPS. We also ship internationally, because we want Vanabliss products to be available wherever Vanagon owners are.

Orders are typically prepared and shipped within about 7 days. Because everything is made and handled with care, that timeframe gives us the space to ensure quality before your order goes out.

Can I paint the headlight kit?

Yes — if you want your kit to match a specific color or finish, automotive-grade paint adheres well to the frames. Just prepare the surface properly before painting and use paints and processes suitable for automotive exterior components.

I stripped a nut hole. What should I do?

If a nut spins or won’t tighten because the hole has been stripped, remove the adjuster from the frame to access the hardware more easily. Once out, you can pull the nut free and reinstall it with some glue under the nut, or a washer under the head, giving the fastener enough surface area to tighten securely.

This technique helps restore secure mounting without replacing parts.
